13th – 19th June, 2010
The Ordina Open, the annual international grass tennis tournament that takes place every year in Amsterdam is changing its name to the UNICEF Open from 2010 onwards. This is the result of a unique cooperation between UNICEF Nederland and Libéma Events, the organiser of the event, making the UNICEF Open the first tennis tournament in the world to cooperate so closely with a charitable institution.
Take the chance to be part of the excited crowd in the first ever UNICEF Open while you are staying in one of our apartments in Amsterdam!
The connection of UNICEF’s name to the tennis tournament is an innovative way to bring the development of children to the attention of the general public and to raise funds.
The UNICEF Open will take place on the 13th to the 19th of June at the Autotron Rosmalen venue located in the municipality of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, around 80km south of Amsterdam. Many famous tennis players have played matches at this tournament including Patrick Rafter and Lleyton Hewitt.
Prices for day tickets for the UNICEF Open range from €30 to €45 and schedules for all the matches can be found on the UNICEF Open’s official website.
